KULTR (culture) Jiu-Jitsu is a community-focused Brazilian JiuJitsu academy launching within the established boxing/mma/fitness facility, Wurk Gym, located in Minnetonka, MN. Primarily focused towards kids/teen BJJ (Brazilian JiuJitsu) (ages 5–17) starting September 1st, and Beginner Adult BJJ fundamental classes to begin later this year.

Private lessons for kids and adults will be available as well. The program emphasizes confidence, discipline, accountability, anti-bullying, self defense, and accessible fitness. KULTR Jiujitsu builds inclusive, welcoming spaces and partnerships with local schools and youth organizations—creating long-term pathways of respect, community, and excellence from beginner to advanced training.

Founded in 2026 by owners and head instructors Kenn Glenn and Akeela Al-Hameed. Both have earned their Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belts AND are also Minneapolis Firefighters.
