Personal & Professional Background
Originally from Chicago, IL, I moved to North Carolina at age 13. After completing one year of college at Appalachian State University, I served in the U.S. Army for 12 years. Following my military service, I joined the Minneapolis Fire Department, where I have served as a Fire Captain for the past 12 years.

Athletic Background
I began training and competing in 2011, logging over 30 professional fights, including 23 MMA and 7 boxing bouts. In 2019, I was awarded my jiu-jitsu black belt by Mauricio Carra of Checkmat Jiu Jitsu. I have a strong passion for teaching, youth development, and jiu-jitsu.

Family
I am a dedicated husband to my wife, Whitney Glenn, whom I married in June 2024. I am a father to four children: Addison (18), Quentin (11), Micah (7), and Autumn Rose (5).
